The ShopCheckr browser extension
See any online shop's grade from your browser's toolbar, or have shops checked as you browse, with a warning before you pay a risky one. Free, no account.
Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store
What it does
- A grade in one clickClick the ShopCheckr button on any shop to see its grade from A to F and the reasons behind it.
- Check any linkRight-click a link in an email, ad or post and choose "Check this link with ShopCheckr" before you open it.
- New shops tooIf we haven't seen a shop yet, the extension checks it on the spot, in about 10 seconds.
- Automatic checks (optional)Have each shop checked the first time you open it. The grade shows on the button, and D and F shops get a warning bar at the top of the page.
- Help catch scam shops (optional)Scam shops often show shoppers a different page than they show checkers like ours. Share facts about the shops you visit, never about you, to help grade them on what shoppers really see.
Private by design
No account. The extension never reads what you type and never runs in private windows. Automatic checks and sharing stay off until you accept the terms, and sites that aren't shops are never sent. What the extension collects.
