• Web address is 2 days oldThe address was registered less than a month ago. Scam shops are bought, advertised and abandoned within weeks, before complaints catch up with them.
• No social media presenceThe shop doesn't link to a single social media profile. Most real stores have at least one.
• No email address shownWe found no email address on the shop's home page, so there may be no way to reach it if an order goes wrong.
• Its domain can't receive emailThe web address has no mail servers, so any email address on it can't work.
• Numbers in the web addressThrowaway shops often take a name that's already used and add numbers to it.

Already paid?

1. Paid by card: call your bank or card issuer and ask for a chargeback for goods not received or not as described. The sooner the better; most allow 60 to 120 days.
2. Paid with PayPal: open a dispute in the Resolution Center within 180 days of paying.
3. Paid by bank transfer, Zelle, gift card or crypto: contact your bank or the gift card company straight away. These are harder to reverse, so act today.
4. Report it: in the US at reportfraud.ftc.gov, or to your country's consumer protection agency. If you found the shop through an ad, report the ad too.

Keep the order confirmation, emails and screenshots of the shop. Your bank will ask for them.
